I can't remember the last time I posted here.  Many things have happened, including my giving birth to Triplets on 11/3/06.  The previously mentioned videography business did not get off the ground like I had hoped, pretty much due to the aforementioned triplets.   I have started a home based business giving away FREE online malls.  Feel free to check it out at http://www.mypowermall.com/Biz/Home/91938  It really is free and easy to give away.

 

I will try to make this "my place" a little more as I have a little more time to think now that they are older.

It's been a while since I posted, but I've been dealing with some issues.  I can't post specifics yet, but when everything is decided I will definitely put it down here. 

 

I can't believe it's already March.  Where does the time go?  Before you know it Christmas will be here again.  It's just ridiculous how fast time goes.

 

I think I'm going to start a videography company.  I'm gonna start slow.  I did my church's school's Christmas production last year and I think it went pretty well.  I am doing their spring production in a couple of weeks and plan to film/tape some community theater in the coming months.  Once I get a little more confidence and equipment I think I begin my foray into weddings and such.  So far I've done some freelance 2nd camera work for another videographer and it seems very enjoyable.  I also enjoy the editing and Stephanie and I are starting a video production class in April that I believe will help me with the quality of my work as well.  I can't wait!!!

 

I must get to work now.  I will attemp to post on a more regular basis in the future.  I can't promise every day, but I will try to  come back as often as possible.

Well, it's valentines day 2006.  Who knew it would come so quick.  I'm really conflicted about this holiday.  In recent years my husband has actually sent me flowers at work (which is nice, don't get me wrong), but I honestly think they would mean alot more if they came on a normal ordinary day.

 

Since I kill every plant I come in contact with, this year he sent me a vase with two teddy bears hugging it and 6 Hershey Kiss Roses.  No flowers.  I think I like this better.

 

In the future I hope to use this blog to better my writing skills, but for now I just want to get used to writing something everyday.  If you are reading this you are probably a friend or family member and I ask that you bear with me.  Hopefully over the course of a couple of months you will notice a change in the writing style and content.  Once I get used to putting my thoughts down in writing I will begin writing my TV pilots and see what I can do with them.

This should be interesting.  I have never had a BLOG before so here goes.....

 

I recently joined a Toastmasters group.  I'm kinda nervous about what my first topic should be.  The manual said tell a story about myself, Something that shows my personality.  I'm not really sure what shows my personality the best.  I'm leaning toward my facination with Star Trek, but I want to make it a little humorous.  I'm not real sure I can be funny when I'm nervous.

 

My main reason for starting this is this...I have been reading Wil Wheaton's BLOG on his site www.wilwheaton.net for about a year and a half.  I enjoy reading his stuff so much and look forward to what he has to say every day.  If he misses a day of posting it almost ruins my day entirely (haha).  I recently bought his book "Just a Geek" and am amazed at his talent.  I am a tad facinated with the entertainment industry and it is so neat to see some of the interworkings of what goes on during the process of casting and making a film.

 

Well, that's all I have to say for today.  I guess once I get used to this form of writing it might come a little easier to me.  This shoud be fun.  I'll try to post everyday.
